[2024/04/29 16:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: You're unlikely to find any orc gods, Gork and Mork aren't too popular outside orc tribes, neither is Luthic, although ironically she's the most likely one to be in contact with humans

[2024/04/29 16:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: As Dahlia flies off... a slender man carrying a large cardboard box ambles out of an alleyway, and barges straight into Debben. He goes cartwheeling over, the box flying up high and ejecting a string of sausages, a ham wrapped in cloth, three apples and a wineskin. "BLIMEY JINGS!" he exclaims
[2024/04/29 16:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: He gets up quickly and looks around. "I didn't see you! Did I hurt you? Are you injured?" He starts to pat Debben down, feeling here and there and offering a hand to help her up
[2024/04/29 16:16] Alicia Frakture: Leesha steps up, keeping her eyes on his hands.
[2024/04/29 16:18] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Bwa!" She yelps as she's knocked backwards, watching the stuff get thrown, then realizing she's being patted down by a surprising person and recognizing this is likely a scam or pickpocketing attempt. "I'm fine, just hold off, I can get up on my own." She checks where he's patted to make sure her own supplies are still in position and that he hasn't made off with something.
[2024/04/29 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: The man steps back, his hands out wide. "Alright, alright! Just making sure you're alright, friend!" He picks up his cardboard box and starts picking up the scattered contents.
[2024/04/29 16:21] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Where are you going that has you in such a rush?"
[2024/04/29 16:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: The man picks up his box. "To feed my family, I got a wife and kids, yer know??" He harumphs and scurries to an alleyway
[2024/04/29 16:24] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: She blinks as he retreats, surprised and confused, glancing around for a possible second partner he might have.
[2024/04/29 16:24] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "....didn't catch his name."
[2024/04/29 16:26] Sonja Bikergrrl: Odd fellow. He doesn't seem to have any partner, although a guy in ornate, fine clothes with a tricorn hat and a feather in it is walking up the street. He stops, starts patting himself... then starts shouting loudly for all to hear. "Bwah! I've been robbed! Stop! Thief! Guards, guards! Help!"
[2024/04/29 16:26] Alicia Frakture: /me shrugs."IF he robbed ya we can find it out soon enough. In the meantime, let's go god or goddess shopping."
[2024/04/29 16:28] Alicia Frakture: "Ohhh maybe there is a Goddess of fighting and focus in a good way."
[2024/04/29 16:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: Maybe... but it seems you're the focal point of about a dozen or more guards converging on you.
[2024/04/29 16:29] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben, deciding to get ahead of this, inquires, "What did they make off with?" She also rechecks herself in case anything got *planted*.
[2024/04/29 16:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guy in the feathered cap points at Debben. "I've been robbed! Arrest that dwarf!"
[2024/04/29 16:30] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Hey! I've been well behaved this whole trip! First time I've seen you before anyhow."
[2024/04/29 16:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guards form a rough circle around everyone, as citizens stand back and gawk.

[2024/04/29 16:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guy in feathered cap: "That dwarf stole my necklace. I'm Lord De La Rue, you'll see my name engraved on it."

[2024/04/29 16:33] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I didn't take anything like that. Some weirdo ran by and tripped over me at high speed though, maybe he was running because of that." She does double check her pockets for anything like a suspicious necklace, hoping she warded the guy off in time.

[2024/04/29 16:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: (Did you hire a good lawyer when you entered town...?)

[2024/04/29 16:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: You do indeed suddenly seem to have acquired a silver necklace with gemstones set in it. You don't need to look to know it does indeed bear a "De La Rue" engraving somewhere.
[2024/04/29 16:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guards: "Right, you're coming with us. Let's not get in any more trouble, shall we? Who's got manacles?"
[2024/04/29 16:37] Alicia Frakture: Leesha puts her hands up."Wait this is a misunderstanding. Some man ran into her while carrying a box of what looked like food stuff and then he began patting her down. we thought he was going to try and steal from her but he might have dropped something on her from this guy. I am willing to give a description of the man."

[2024/04/29 16:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guards look at the guy with the feathered cap. "The dwarf did it!"
[2024/04/29 16:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guard to Debben: "I'm sorry, it's with manacles, that's the good option. Let's just go with that one, shall we?"
[2024/04/29 16:39] Alicia Frakture: Hold on Lord De la soul. How can you be sure she took it. we were coming from the opposite direction of you, and I have never seen you before."
[2024/04/29 16:40] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: /me growls a bit, holding her arms out with her hands tensed so that the manacles will have to lock in as loose a configuration as possible, and out in front of her.
[2024/04/29 16:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: Lord De La Rue huffs and puffs out his chest. "Guards, are you listening to this? They're accusing me of lying. I'm a noble, I'm super important!"
[2024/04/29 16:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guard to Debben: "Nuh uh. Behind you. And don't try to be clever! It won't end well - for you."
[2024/04/29 16:41] Alicia Frakture: No sir, not accusing you of lying but you might be mistaken. It is possible it was planted on her. Wouldn't it be best to find the real thief?
[2024/04/29 16:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: Lord De La Rue to the guards: "I think I'll need an escort to the castle."
[2024/04/29 16:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guard to Leesha: "If you want to make a statement or complaint, report it to the nearest barracks."

[2024/04/29 16:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guard: jerks a thumb at one of the other guards. "Constable Truthhammer will show you the way."
[2024/04/29 16:45] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben rolls her eyes at how attentive the guards seem to be here, turning to present her arms and deciding she is 100% done with being in human towns after she gets out of this. "How does one get the name Truthhammer? Though I suppose I can imagine."
[2024/04/29 16:45] Alicia Frakture: Thank and thank you constable." She says before yelling into the sky. "HEY DAHLIA!"
[2024/04/29 16:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guards snap manacles on and four of them escort Debben, and one follows along with the Lord.
[2024/04/29 16:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: Constable Truthhammer: "It is my fathers' name, and a good name it is, too!"

[2024/04/29 16:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: Constable Truthhammer leads the way to the nearest barracks. Meanwhile, Debben is escorted to the castle - more accurately, the jail area. There's a large entrance that leads down into the dungeons, and it's not too long before they're quite far underground - which would be comforting for a dwarf, but, current circumstances

[2024/04/29 16:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: By now, three of the guards have dropped off on the way. One thing Debben notices is... there's been no guard captain, or checking in or handing over... and the Lord is still present.
[2024/04/29 16:50] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guards: "Okay, we done our part. Just be sure she's unharmed and back fast."
[2024/04/29 16:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Lord": "Oh, I assure you, we are the best of Frendz."
[2024/04/29 16:51] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Ah, todays a day for Aristocratic "Justice" it seems. Debben considers her options for spellcasting while manacled... which are poor.
[2024/04/29 16:51] Alicia Frakture: Leesha follows and fills out the report, describing the human who ran into Debben to the best of her ability.
[2024/04/29 16:52] Sonja Bikergrrl: On the other hand, Debbens' ability to describe the guy who ran into her are rather good, since he slips out of the shadows. "We'll take it from here, guys."
